| Being Human-Educational Documentary Film |
|
This film is actually captivating because of the new vision of a part of education that this documentary opens up. For one, you begin to see public education in a new light and especially from public schools that operate in neighborhoods that belong to the people who are on a lower rung of the society and are at a monetary disadvantage. It is uplifting as well as it raises questions about why we do not help these educational facilities as well, all they seem to need is some financial aid and a whole lot of good sense; the lack of which is leading astray thousands of under privileged children from disadvantaged backgrounds who are not given the right kind of education in these schools. The documentary is set in Montreal and helps the audience to examine the role of the school itself and what it plays in our society and its very importance. The big question of this documentary is whether we as a society should allow this kind of public education to just be a place like a factory where different machine parts are systematically churned out into society. |
