| Dangerous Minds-Educational Movie |
|
The film is cliché, which is the best word that would describe the film; about a teacher who introduces children living in a dangerous Ghetto community to a world outside this community and you would very soon in the film have déjà vu moments, because you have seen these scenes and heard these dialogues in numerous similar films before. Although there are many films with similar plots there are some that are just classics because of one unique element in the film as a whole, but this one is lacking in it completely; the script, the predictability, the cliché Hollywood style is all something that you have experienced before. So, if you are inclined to watch the film it would not pinch you that hard after having finished watching the film because you saw it at home instead of paying for tickets in a theater. This being said, it is not entirely a bad film, but it is just not original and does not fulfill the standards that it was hyped up to be. |
If you believe that you got to watch any film which has Michelle Pfeiffer starring in it; you might not be a good judge of films. Of course, she does carry though a performance in this film which lives up to the standards that she has set for herself and that we expect of her, but she is about the only talent that you would notice on screen.
