When posters of the ‘Lord of the Flies’ were released and as people began to watch its promos etc there was mixed reaction, some were intrigued and interested while some were simply groused out. The conflict begins when the group of boys are split into two, one group which believes in living a civilized life even though they are currently in the wild while the others take on savage ways of survival. Even though the film follows its own plot and storyline, truth be told it really gets you thinking how life would be for us who are civilized to live in the wild and whether society breaks down or survives in that fashion. The film is as you know based on the novel by the same name and is a classic film which sets about this idea of how savage man can possibly get if they start living in a world where they cannot simply cross the road for a hamburger. Whether grossed out or merely intrigued by the idea of the film, there are some great moments and memorable dialogues that you ought to watch out for in this film.
