If one story has been successful enough to have been a hit as a novel, a long running television series as well as a film, you instantly realize that this is one story that you cannot absolutely miss out on if you haven’t already seen or heard it. If you want to know the story in a nutshell what better way is there than to watch it’s film version which is incidentally quite true to the book itself.

The story is about a hard working Harvard Law student and actually involves the lives of the other students and professors as well. Hart is the young student who is at the same time enamored as well as intimidated by his grumpy and somewhat self important professor of contracts Kingsfield; the fact that he is also dating his daughter does not improve the situation. The students are followed through their years of a Harvard education at the end of which Hart simply makes a paper airplane out of the report card that he receives and sends it flying into the Atlantic Ocean even without having taken a look at it. The film is a lovely and touching and is simply put a film about fitting in and a bunch of kids trying very hard to succeed. But there is something classic about the way the film is portrayed and the story that it has to tell. It was also a great platform for some of the film’s best actors.
